The Parametric low speed traffic counter sensor is ideal for counting slow moving objects such as pedestrians and cyclists. Providing a reliable means for bi-directional counting this sensor can detect objects at a distance between 1 and 8m, travelling at speeds between 1 – 40 km/h.
Users of this traffic counter sensor have the option of two variants; an external powered device or solar powered sensor.
With an IP65 rated casing, the Parametric low speed counter can be wall or pole mounted ready for you to count and categorise traffic in your application.
Using LoRaWAN® technology, the Parametric low speed traffic counter sensor sends recorded data by a LoRaWAN® gateway and network server at regular intervals. This data can then be used to monitor traffic levels and or to gauge capacity levels at parking facilities by counting cars in and out of car parks.
