Description

The Parametric PCR2 outdoor people counter sensor uses LoRaWAN® connectivity to provide a camera-less solution. Available with or without a compact solar panel, users of the Parametric PCR2-OD have the option to power their devices the best way to suit them.

Providing bi-directional counting of humans, the sensor uses radar signals to maintain optimal privacy. Housed in a slim, weather-proof enclosure, the Parametric outdoor people counter sensor can be easily mounted.

The Parametric outdoor people counter sensor can be useful in monitoring human traffic in areas such as; shops, trade shows, outdoor safety applications and facility management.

The above video shows the Parametric PCR2-XIO object sensor in action. With bi-directional counting, the sensor is able to monitor the number of people arriving and leaving to provide an accurate occupancy level. The example illustrated in the video has been configured with a traffic light system to provide a visual alert to make visitors aware when it’s safe to enter and is ideal for maintaining social distancing in areas such as hospitality and retail.
