The Adeunis Pulse Counter enables you to remotely monitor energy consumption via the LoRaWAN protocol. This DIN-Rail device can be easily connected to existing energy meters to measure electrical pulses. Ideal for monitoring water and electricity, this device supports the connection of 2 meters simultaneously.
This energy monitoring sensor can also be used to detect leaks and to report potential tampers by monitoring the meter flow rate. The Adeunis Pulse Counter can also be useful in monitoring energy consumption and performance.
For added simplicity, this device can be configured both locally and remotely. Recorded data can then be transmitted at your selected intervals via a local LoRaWAN network.
LoRaWAN technology allows for extended battery life as small packets of data are sent via radiowaves to a centralised LoRaWAN gateway. The nature of LoRaWAN technology means that these small packets of data can be transmitted over long distances – up to 10km (depending on environmental conditions).
This device is compatible with a range of LoRaWAN gateways which then push the data to a LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS) then on to the application server. The application server is where you’ll be able to view and analyse your data, create alerts and identify faults.
An ATEX certified version of the Adeunis Pulse Counter is also available for monitoring gas consumption. The non-certified version can be used for monitoring water or energy supplies. It can essentially transform any meter into a wireless smart meter.
