Decentlab‘s surface temperature sensor uses LoRaWAN® technology to measure thermal energy with great accuracy. Enabling remote temperature monitoring, the surface temperature sensor is ideal for applications such as; road surface monitoring, ice warnings and smart agriculture.
With an adjustable measuring area, users can alter the area based on the distance between the target and sensor lens:
|Distance||Measuring Spot Diameter|
|100 mm||11.6 mm|
|400 mm||26.7 mm|
|1000 mm||76.5 mm|
|2000 mm||160 mm|
|5000 mm||409 mm|
Sensor data is transmitted at configurable intervals via LoRaWAN® which is then sent to a compatible gateway over a range of up to 10 km.
