We have been made aware of an outage of the "eSIM" product used for cellular connectivity by Alliot until late in 2023.

This has caused gateways to go offline at roughly 4am this morning.

We have reported this to the SIM provider who confirmed the outage soon afterwards and are treating it as P1 priority.

We will post further updates as we receive them to this post.

10:00am
We have received an update to say this outage appears to be a fault in a data centre in Slough affecting the roaming provider's network. Engineers are on route.

10:15am
We are seeing gateways coming back online just now. We haven't had confirmation from the SIM provider that the issue is resolved though so we will keep monitoring and there is a chance of them going back offline until we know the issue is resolved.

11:00am
The SIM provider has confirmed that a fix has been applied and services are being restored.
From what we can see, everything seems to be back online now so we will consider this issue closed but will keep monitoring for any changes in situation.
