Decentlab's LoRaWAN®-enabled tipping bucket rain gauge meets the specifications of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). With a resolution of 0.1mm and catchment area of 200 cm2. This smart device has an extremely low power consumption and calculate the precipitation during the last sampling interval and total accumulated precipitation. The tipping bucket rain gauge generates a pulse every time it senses 0.1mm of water. Therefore, one pulse equals 0.1 mm rainfall. The device counts all these pulses to report the amount of rain water over your specified period. Featuring a 1m cable length, the Decentlab tipping bucket rain gauge is compatible with LoRaWAN® networks of any provider. Simply place and measure; no setup required. Ideal for applications such as:
The rain gauge is configurable via command line interface and downlink command interface this sensor can be left unattended for several years without replacing the batteries. Housed in a robust polycarbonate enclosure, this device is weatherproof, impact and UV-resistant with an IP67 rating.
