Product Description

The Milesight EM410-RDL Distance Level Sensor is a high-performance, non-contact sensor designed for precision distance and liquid level monitoring. Using advanced millimetre-wave (mmWave) radar technology, it delivers consistent, stable readings over long ranges, even in the most challenging conditions.

The Milesight EM410-RDL is a high-performance, non-contact sensor utilising advanced 60GHz Millimetre Wave (mmWave) radar technology for precision distance and liquid level monitoring. With a highly focused 8° narrow beam angle, this advanced radar can penetrate non-conductive materials such as plastics and plants. This ensures uninterrupted, highly accurate measurements without requiring a direct line of sight, making it entirely unaffected by environmental factors like dust, steam, or overgrowth.

Ideal for a wide range of applications, including:

  • Water Management: Rivers, reservoirs, and flood defence systems
  • Infrastructure: Sewerage systems and drainage monitoring
  • Industrial Storage: Large tanks and chemical containers
The device is available with NPT and G thread options to suit the application environment. The sensor also has a built-in tilt sensor to ensure accurate data continues to be collected even if the device has been accidentally knocked. 

Built to withstand explosive atmospheres, the EM411-RDL integrates ATEX Zone 0 certification with a chemical-resistant PVDF housing and robust IP68 rating. This durable design ensures accurate monitoring and maintenance-free operation even in harsh conditions, effectively eliminating ignition risks and comprehensively safeguarding personnel and critical assets.
