Product Description

The Milesight SG50 is an innovative Solar LoRaWAN® Gateway to provide a truly wireless connectivity solution for remote environments. By combining a high-efficiency solar panel with a built-in rechargeable battery, this gateway ensures your IoT network remains active even in areas without access to the power grid.

To ensure global compatibility, the SG50 is available in other frequencies.

This ultra-low-power IoT gateway addresses the challenge of maintaining consistent data transmission in off-grid locations. Featuring low-temperature battery heating and a robust power management system, the device can maintain a stable connection for up to four days even in total darkness. Whether you are monitoring assets in the wilderness or managing infrastructure in transit, the SG50 delivers reliable cellular backhaul for up to 2,000 end nodes.

Ideally suited for a wide range of rugged outdoor applications, the Milesight SG50 is frequently utilised in:

The SG50 stands out with its unique hardware configuration, featuring an integrated 45W solar panel and a high-capacity 25Ah internal battery. For maximum durability, the internal components are protected by a robust IP67-rated enclosure, allowing it to withstand extreme weather conditions and temperatures. Furthermore, the gateway offers flexible power redundancy, accepting 12/24V DC or USB Type-C inputs alongside its primary solar source.

Utilising LoRaWAN® technology, the Milesight SG50 is completely wireless. The smart device transmits recorded data from your sensors to a connected LoRaWAN® network server, which then sends the information to your chosen third-party platform or smartphone application for easy visualisation.
