The Milesight VS330 is a LoRaWAN® bathroom occupancy sensor providing a cost-effective solution for monitoring the occupancy status of bathrooms and cubicles.
To optimise accuracy and efficiency, the Milesight VS330 adopts dual PIR and ToF technology to detect space occupancy in individual cubicles. By combining PIR (Passive Infrared) to detect human motion with ToF (Time of Flight) to measure the precise distance from objects, the VS330 ensures highly reliable detection results whilst maintaining 100% anonymity.
The device is fully GDPR compliant. Whilst PIR detects infrared radiation from humans, the ToF sensor simply measures the time it takes for a light wave to travel to an object and back. No cameras or microphones are used, ensuring no personal information is involved in the process.
