Description
The Kerlink Wanesy Wave Indoor Positioning System (IPS) combines WiFi and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) with LoRaWAN® to provide reliable tracking of people and assets indoors.
The Wanesy Wave acts as an anchor which can detect Bluetooth or WiFi signals from a range of devices. The anchor tracks these signals to report accurate asset locations within a certain area. It then anonymises the data and sends it on to the LoRaWAN® gateway. The data is then transferred through LoRa radio waves to your LoRaWAN® network server and then on to a cloud-based user interface.
The device has embedded scanning, counting and zoning software that can be configured to your IoT application. The Wanesy Wave is compatible with Kerlink’s Wanesy Management Centre; a user-friendly interface where you can manage your LoRaWAN® devices.
Data is then sent to an analysis dashboard of your choice. From the user dashboard you can see key parameters such as:
- how many assets or people in a certain area
- how. many have moved into or out of that area
- how long each device spent in the given area
Designed for users looking to quickly identify the location of assets or visitor numbers, this smart tracking solution is ideal for use in healthcare settings, smart buildings or retail.
⚠ LoRaWAN® counters are not intended for real time notification, recorded data will be periodically transmitted based on your chosen configuration. Sensor accuracy will rely on network resiliency and device manufacturer.
