The Milesight VS360 is a people counting sensor that is based on IR Breakbeam technology
Details Additional Info Data Sheet Manual
The Milesight VS360 IR Break Beam Sensor works as a pair by forming an invisible ribbon with infrared beams, effectively calculating foot traffic as the invisible line is being broken. The infrared break beam technology involves the principle of crossing the invisible line between the transmitter and receiver, accurately counting foot counts.
The VS360 offers pinpoint precision in foot traffic counting with an accuracy of up to 99% for single-person detection, and up to 85% accuracy when there is more than one person. Throughout the people counting process, the sensor relies on “breaking” the infrared beams, where neither personal nor sensitive information of any kind will be collected. It's GDPR compliant!
The exclusive Milesight LoRa®-based protocol allows the people counter to easily communicate with other Milesight LoRaWAN® devices within 1 second.
