Designed specifically for washroom monitoring, the enLink OdourSense uses sensing technology to detect gases responsible for unpleasant odours. The sensor detects a wide range of odour gases, helping facilities teams gain a more accurate understanding of perceived washroom conditions.
Using LoRaWAN® connectivity, recorded environmental data can be transmitted wirelessly for remote monitoring and analysis. This allows facilities teams to move away from fixed cleaning schedules and towards demand-led cleaning based on real-time washroom conditions.

The enLink OdourSense monitors eight key gases associated with unpleasant odours, including methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, trimethylamine, dimethyl disulfide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide, styrene and ammonia. By detecting compounds at very low concentrations, the device can provide a more representative measurement of the odours experienced by washroom users.
Alongside odour monitoring, the enLink OdourSense also combines temperature, relative, humidity, barometric pressure and VOCs in one smart, compact device.
Recorded data is transmitted over a LoRaWAN® network, providing long-range, low-power connectivity for smart building deployments. The device can also integrate with Building Management Systems (BMS) using BACnet and wider IoT platforms, helping organisations implement predictive cleaning and ventilation strategies. Recovered data is transmitted to a connected LoRaWAN gateway via a LoRaWAN network
