Data recorded by your sensors will be transmitted to the Symbius IoT middleware platform, where it is decoded into a common format. This makes it possible for your data to be easily understood and shared across your applications and business processes. The decoded data will feed through to your chosen platform by a single API.
Symbius simplifies your cellular IoT deployments. It implements the necessary protocols to make your devices work, giving you one less thing to worry about.
Why is an IoT Middleware Platform important?
When it comes to cellular IoT, there is no standard for how data is sent at application level. Data protocols tend to differ between each sensor manufacturer. Meaning the rules for formatting and processing this data are likely to be different for the sensors you deploy. This has created a huge barrier when developing NB-IoT and LTE-M solutions.
